Georgette Turner Executive Chair

 

Georgette Turner is a highly regarded Unit production manager, and line producer with over 15 years of experience in the film and television industry. She is known for her exceptional ability to manage complex logistics and her innovative approach to sustainable production practices. 

Georgette career includes key roles in major productions such as Wonder Woman 1984, The Little Mermaid, Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore, The Boys in the Boat, and Edge of Tomorrow. Her work spans various genres and international locations, showcasing her versatility and expertise in location management. In addition to her work In film Georgette has worked as an event manager for a range of live, events and ceremonies including, The Oscars, Joe Bidens Inauguration, HRH Prince Philips Funeral, The masked Singer and The LMGI Awards 2020 and 2021.

Beyond her technical skills, Georgette is a passionate advocate for diversity, inclusion, and sustainability within the industry. She has developed innovative solutions to promote eco-friendly practices on set, including solar-powered facilities and the repurposing of props and costumes. Her efforts have earned her recognition as a role model and a source of inspiration for colleagues. In addition to her professional achievements, Georgette is committed to mentoring the next generation of Location Managers. She leads Location Bootcamps to equip emerging talent with the skills needed to succeed in the industry. Her dedication to fostering a supportive and inclusive work environment has made her a respected figure among her peers.

Georgette resides in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, and is actively involved in various business ventures. She serves as a director for multiple companies, including Georgette Properties Ltd and Spotless H20 Limited, reflecting her entrepreneurial spirit and diverse professional interests. Honored In 2024, Turner was with the Inspiration Award at the Production Guild of Great Britain Awards, celebrating her outstanding contributions to the industry and her unwavering commitment to excellence and received the nomination for the Production Guild Duke of Edinburgh Diversity and inclusion award .

Georgette is currently working as a Producer on the upcoming feature film ”Fortitude” directed by Simon West ( Con Air, Expendables 2

Lyn Saunders Liverpool Film Office

 

Lynn Saunders  has had a distinguished career spanning over 30 years dedicated to advancing the creative industries in Liverpool and the North West. She has served as the Director of Liverpool Film Office since 1999 and is also Managing Director of The Depot—a pivotal role in developing the city's production infrastructure

Over the past decade, her leadership has helped attract over £100 million worth of television and film production to the region, including major projects like The Batman, Peaky Blinders, and BAFTA-nominated dramas such as Time and Help

Film & TV Tax Advocacy
Under her guidance, Liverpool Film Office has championed strategic initiatives like the LCR Production Fund, The Depot, and the development of the Littlewoods Studio Campus. She’s been vocal in industry discussions, particularly around the new UK Independent Film Tax Credit, which she believes will be transformative for indie film

Lynn was honoured with the Mercury Business Award at the Women in Film & TV UK Awards—a testament to her ongoing commitment to skills development and creating a more inclusive screen industry 

Ian Pearce Regions Engagement Manager

 

Ian Pearce began his career as Assistant Location Manager on ITV’s Lewis from 2012–2015 (18 episodes), and also worked on the pilot of Foyle’s War  He then Progressed to senior Location Manager roles across high-end British film and television productions.

Ian Currently serves as Managing Director (Scotland & Regions) at Supply 2 Location Group, the UK’s premier film & TV location services and logistics provider Ian is known for this can do approach and innovative ideas which make complex and protistigiuos filming projects look effortless.

Notable Productions

Ian served as Location Manager or consultant on blockbuster productions filmed in Scotland, including Avengers: Infinity War, Outlaw King, Succession, Fast & Furious 9, No Time To Die, Peaky Blinders, Jurassic World, The Batman, and The Secret Garden .

Leadership & Strategy

As MD at Supply 2 Location, Ian spearheaded expansion of regional hubs—including northern England, Merseyside, Birmingham, and Scotland—optimising service efficiency, sustainability initiatives, and training programs and is known for establishing strong relationships with local authorities, universities (Oxford colleges, Bodleian Library, Mathematical Institute), and utility providers to support logistics, road management, and bespoke setups—such as floating pontoon bridges and controlled heritage access .

Personal Style & Impact

Ian has built a reputation for innovative yet respectful approach: negotiating heritage site access, creating strategic logistics solutions (e.g., punting footbridges), and winning trust of academic and city officials and opening up remote parts of Scotland to make them Film Friendly..

Ian is  valued for fostering collaborative, enjoyable on-location environments—as noted during the lively, community-focused shoots in Oxford’s hotels, pubs, and live venues. Ian Pearce exemplifies the creative problem-solving, logistical mastery, and local diplomacy essential to bringing intricate productions to life on location—especially within rich, historical settings.

Hannah Batten Event Manager

 

Hannah Batten is an up-and-coming talent in locations. As an Event Manager with over 10 years experience in operations, team, facilities and transport management within the event industry, Hannah recently changed career to return to film. Hannah brings a wealth of experience to the Awards.

Before working in events, Hannah started her film career in post-production almost 20 years ago as a runner in South Africa's largest post-production facility where she worked on many high profile commercials and a number of Hollywood films including; Blood Diamond and 10,000 BC. Hannah studied VFX Production and worked briefly as a VFX Artist before expanding her family. While being a stay-at-home mum, Hannah ran a successful mentoring and events business for 10 years, training young women to build their confidence, and organising charity events that celebrated the achievements of women.

She is currently working in the film and HETV industry within production and transport, continuing her love for operations and logistics.  Hannah now brings her experience of mentoring, leadership and operations management to the Awards and is excited to be making a difference. 

Richard Luck Logistics Manager

 

Richard Ruck is a British location manager and unit production manager with extensive experience in the film and television industry. His work spans a variety of high-profile productions, demonstrating his expertise in managing on-location logistics and coordinating complex shoots.

Serving in the Welsh Guard and where he was also a pro Boxer Richard is unfazed by pretty much all that this line of work can throw at him. The kindest nature with the hardest work ethic Rich has created the position of one of the most in demand unit mangers in the business. Working in many countries on the Bond Franchise, the Succession, Fantastic Beats and where to Find them, The discovery or witches and many more along the way he's the backbone of most productions and the fantastic behind the scenes backbone of any event or show. Richard has worked alongside Georgette for over ten years.
